Win in the Playoffs, OK?
Cincinnati Bengals tickets have given Bengals fans four straight trips to the playoffs. That’s a good thing and indicates Cincinnati is on the cusp. In 2015, actually coming home with a playoff win is going to be the key to what happens to the Bengals in the future. Read More...
Cincinnati is still banking on Andy Dalton being the quarterback to bring success to the franchise but his opportunities may be growing thinner. Dalton has shown he can be competent, if not great, and 2014 showed he can thrive in the right system. Offensive Coordinator Hue Jackson seems to have a handle on Dalton, giving him quick passes and reliable outlets when pressured. Dalton may still be the man for the Bengals but he’ll have to find a more precise touch on the long ball and avoid turnovers if he wants to keep AJ McCarron the bench. A.J Green, Mohamed Sanu, and Marvin Jones make a solid receiving group and Tyler Eifert will probably play a larger role at Tight End in the upcoming season.
The Bengals running game is in good shape with a stud like Jeremy Hill, who carried the offense in 2014 when injuries depleted the receiving corp. Hill topped 100 yards five time and came close to reaching 1,000 yards. Giovani Bernard offers an effective contrast, with better quickness and good hands as a receiver.
The Cincinnati Bengals have an established pass defense already on board, having been among the leaders in that category defensively in 2014. Adam Jones, Dre Patrick, and leon hall make up the core of the secondary, while safeties Reggie Nelson and George Iloka provide veteran coverage. The Bengals must get better at stopping the run though, and bringing in A.J Hawk is a step in the right direction. Hawk will pair with an up and coming Rey Mauluga and a hopefully healthy Vontaze Bufict to make things happen against the opponent’s running attack.
The Gut Check
Bengals tickets are at a crossroads. After four seasons on one and done in the playoffs, it has to happen in 2015 or there could be wholesale changes in Cincinnati. That makes 2015 one of those go for broke season NFL fans love so much. The Bengals will be tougher, more motivated, and in better shape to shake things up in 2015 than they have been in years.

2010 Cincinnati Bengals Tickets – Defending the AFC North
Cincinnati Bengals tickets rewarded fans with an AFC North title in 2009 and some exciting football to boot. The Bengals earned the moniker “Cardiac Kids” by managing to tie or win a half a dozen games late in the 4th quarter. It might get even better in the 2010 NFL season for the Bengals and their fans. Cincinnati has all the pieces in place to take on the Steelers and ravens within their division where it really counts. Building around Carson Palmer, Bengals management used trades and the free agent market to bolster the offense. It’s enough to remind Bengals ticket holders of the pass happy days of yore when Palmer and the Bengals looked to have a Super Bowl within reach. 2010 could be a breakout year in Cincinnati and Bengals tickets could take football fans on one wild ride.
2010 Cincinnati Bengals – The Offense
Carson Palmer is a tough quarterback and a good one. He’s excelled in the past few seasons despite injury and adversity. He’s about to get rewarded with weapons. The Bengals relied on Chad Ochocinco and as a result opposing defenses worked to shut #85 down. In 2010 Cincinnati goes into full pass attack mode. The addition of Antonio Bryant gives Carson Palmer another go to guy. In a bold move the Bengals also signed the eternal free agent Terrell Owens to the roster, giving them a dangerous three receiver set. And if rookie Tight end Jermaine Gresham lives up to his potential he could become a big target for Palmer. Happily, the Cincinnati Bengals have found a powerhouse running back in Cedric Benson. With over 300 carries and 1,251 yards to his credit in 2009, Benson is a workhorse and a reliable runner that doesn’t put the ball on the ground.
The Bengals finished in the Top 5 in total yards on defense last season, a situation which bodes well for 2010 since the unit is fairly young. When Antwan Odom is healthy he anchors a group of solid players. The Bengals linebackers are also a developing group with Rey Maualuga and Keith Rivers just coming into their own. While this group applies pressure on the running game and the quarterback, Cincinnati can depend on corners Leon hall and Johnathan Joseph to keep opposing receivers in check. At times in 2009 it was up to the Bengals defense to win the game and they responded well. The pressure will be on again in 2010 as Cincinnati looks to repeat as AFC North Champions and sets their sights on going even further in the playoffs.
