Golden State Warriors Tickets – Witness a Scoring Frenzy
Golden State Warriors tickets may been the most enjoyable NBA tickets around last season. The Warriors played like playground madmen, putting up an incredible 106.5 points per game. Running up and down the court the basketball seemed to constantly be in the air. Unfortunately they often played defense playground style and opponents scored 106.9 points a game. Toughening up the D while maintaining that offensive output is the challenge for Head Coach Don Nelson and Golden State Warriors tickets.
The New Golden State Warriors
As the Golden State Warriors progressed through their playoff series with the Utah Jazz it became obvious that they were getting beaten up on the inside. In a move geared to provide more muscle Golden State traded away Jason Richardson for the rights to 1st Round pick Brandon Wright. It was an enigmatic move that many criticized.Richardsonwas an offensive force, meaningGolden State won’t put up points like they did last year. Wright however, has tons more upside and should develop into a much better player on defense.
In the meantime the scoring will hinge on Baron Davis, Al Harrington, and Monta Ellis. Ellis is the likely guy to fill the hole left byRichardson. Head Coach Don Nelson thinks the young Ellis is ready to take on a bigger role. His confidence is bolstered by Ellis taking home the Most Improved Player honors last season. Harrington needs to improve on his post game but should repeat his 16 points a game. Baron Davis is ready to take over the scoring title for Golden State if he can stay on the court. Injuries have bothered him throughout his career but if he stays healthy the Warriors will be solid.
Golden State Warriors Tickets and the Pacific Division
Two games over .500 got Golden State into the playoffs last season. Repeating that performance is going to be a challenge. The Warriors probably will experience some dropoff in offense after changing the makeup of the team. The problem of keeping Baron Davis on the court, mixing Wright into the system, and the development of Ellis all point to major obstacles in returning to the playoffs. Then again, there isn’t a team in the Pacific Division that doesn’t have its own problems.
