2013 Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets – Determining the Future

The time is now for Jacksonville Jaguars tickets to pay off. After a season that saw the Jaguars pull off a respectable record, only to fade into the playoff background with a four game slide at the end, the Jaguars have their backs to the proverbial wall. 2013 Jaguars tickets will provide a keen insight into the makeup of the team and probably go a long way towards determining the future of Jack Del Rio and maybe even the presence of the Jaguars in the city of Jacksonville. There are enough pieces in place to make the 2013 Jacksonville Jaguars a winning team and even a playoff contender. GM Gene Smith hit a lucky streak in his first NFL Draft, producing a handful of starters and a few role players with potential. Winning in 2013 will give the Jacksonville Jaguars and the management time to hit their stride for the future. This is a pivotal time for Jacksonville, a time that will determine whether Jacksonville Jaguars tickets are even available in the years to come.

2010 Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets – Meet the Offense

The Jacksonville Jaguars will build their offense around an offense using plenty of wide receivers and the brutal rushing attack of Maurice Jones-Drew. While David Garrard has been the target of some criticism, he is physically capable of getting it done. Garrard has enough size and arm strength to make all the throws and he gets rid of the ball fast enough to stay healthy. If he falls short, it’s his reluctance to master the metal elements of the game. If Garrard continues to disappoint, the recently acquired Luke McCown could be called on to step up.

Whoever is under center will have a promising set of receivers. Jaguars tickets holders watched Mike Sims-Walker blossom into an NFL receiver last season as he snapped up 63 catches for almost 900 yards and seven touchdowns. Training camp and pre-season work will determine who’s on the field in the other spots. 2009 Rookie Mike Thomas is the likely man. Thomas produced 48 catches in his rookie campaign, a solid start that bodes well for the Jaguars. Expect Jaret Willard to make some noise as well.

The running game is in excellent shape with Maurice Jones-Drew. The fireplug of a player erased memories of Fred Taylor by pounding out 1,391 yards on over 300 carries and scoring 16 touchdowns, while mixing things up with 53 catches out of the backfield. Jones-Drew is the heart and soul of the Jaguars offense and his continued health is crucial. To give him a rest Jacksonville will beat opponents with the larger Rashad Jennings, a change of pace guy who can evade tacklers with his feet and take them on with his size.

2010 Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets – Meet the Defense

If anything killed the Jaguars chances last season it was the lack of pass rush. Opposing quarterbacks picked apart a hurting secondary. To change that situation the Jags inked DE Aaron Kampman, a former Packer with a good push. The NFL Draft produced 1st rounder Tyson Aluala of California and #2 pick D’Anthony Smith. The two youngsters will plug up the middle and give Kampman and Derrick Harvey the chance to pressure opposing quarterbacks. Not resting with the D-Line, Del Rio traded for the Raiders for Kirk Morrison, freeing the talented Daryl Smith to move to the strong side. A beleaguered secondary will appreciate the extra help. Cornerback Derek Cox was thrown to the wolves his rookie season and responded well. Rashean Mathis needs to stay healthy. When at full speed, Mathis is a top flight NFL quarterback.

Jaguars Tickets – War in the AFC South

The Jacksonville Jaguars have to build their campaign on wins in the AFC South. That mean Jaguars tickets to essential games with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans are a must have. The Colts are Super Bowl favorites again and Houston has become the AFC South member with something to prove. Along the way, the Jaguars will welcome the Denver Broncos to Jacksonville Municipal in the season opener and follow it up the next week by hosting the new Philadelphia Eagles. Vince Young and the Titans come to Jacksonville on Oct. 18th. This season is a big one for Florida NFL football and Jacksonville Jaguars tickets promise to be an interesting ride.
