2015 San Francisco 49ers Tickets

Huge Changes Alter 49ers Fortunes

No team, at least no winning team, underwent as much transition between the end of the 2014 NFL season and the beginning of the 2015 NFL season as the San Francisco 49ers. Fans thought the loss of their Head Coach would be tolerable, after all, he was leaving behind a talented roster. Then, that roster began to disintegrate through surprise retirements, gree agent departures, and legal woes. The 2015 49ers will be a different club. The question is whether they can be successful right away or whether it’s going to take some time to jell. Read More...

The Offense

San Francisco won’t have Frank Gore to depend on anymore so Carlos Hyde will be the featured running back in the new system of Geep Chryst. Chryst will employ more play action and the addition of Reggie Bush means San Francisco can run more play action with Bush and Kendall Hunter. The 49ers also added Mike Davis in the draft, a tough runner in the mold of Gore.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will have to adjust to a new system for the first time in his pro career. He seems to be willing, working in the offseason to become better at reading defenses and less dependent on his legs. That doesn’t mean he won’t be used on bootlegs or won’t take off on freelance scrambles. One of the NFL’s better runners, Kaepernick will still be more dangerous flushed out of the pocket than in it.

Anquan Boldin returns for another year in Frisco, and the team added Torrey Smith to the mix to add some speed and stretch defenses out. While Boldin and Smith are established starters, the third and fourth receivers will have to earn their spots in camp and the pre-season. Bruce Ellington is a quick and elusive runner after the catch and has a good chance at getting more playing time while Quinton Patton is a more conventional possession type receiver. Vernon Davis, at 31, is still a viable option but he must rebound from a down year in a new system.

The Defense

San Francisco lost some key players on defense but still remain a talented group. Ian Williams works the nose tackle position up front, and it appears Tank Carradine will finally get a chance to show what he can do. The 49ers are also hoping Darnell Docket can come back from injury and be effective. Another injury question is NaVorro Bowman, who is recovering from knee surgery, and whether he can be effective at middle linebacker. The rest of this group will be worked out in training camp.

At cornerback San Francisco will be brand new. Chris Cook was signed as a free agent, and the 49ers have a few players like Dante Johnson, who could win starting spots. Tramaine Bock should be one of the corners. The team is in good shape with safeties as Eric Reid and Antoine Bethea are both experienced and talented.

The Gut Check

If things are going to happen for the San Francisco 49ers in 2015, it will have to happen quickly. With the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West, the 49ers won’t have much time to let things jell. This is still a talented team, but with that much upheaval, it remains to be seen whether they will be as good as they have been for the last four years.

  Mine Gold with 49ers Tickets

2015 will be good for fans with 49ers tickets. In Week 2 they’ll see the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. The second game in October brings the Philadelphia Eagles. There’s a trip to London to take on the Broncos, a visit from the Rams, and of course a must win game with the Arizona Cardinals in Candlestick Park as a season finale. Toss in Oakland, Tampa bay, and the Seahawks and you’ve got plenty of reasons to get your San Francisco 49ers tickets early.

San Francisco 49ers Tickets – Singletary Imposes His Will

San Francisco 49ers tickets may be the best way to see the NFC West divisional contest that’s shaping up. Since Mike Singletary took over the 49ers have been undergoing a transition to a tough, hardnosed NFL team, much like their coach. Singletary demands an all out effort, attention to detail, and loyalty. For the first time in years San Francisco has maintained a roster and a coaching staff from the previous season. With most of the big pieces in place the San Francisco 49ers appear fully capable of challenging the Cardinals for the NFC West title. Singletary will be using a tough running game, timely passing from Alex Smith, and the emergence of Michael Crabtree to carry the 49ers to their first playoff spot since the days of old. It’s a ride 49ers ticket holders have been waiting for.

2010 San Francisco 49ers Tickets – The Offense

The San Francisco 49ers have the advantage of Frank Gore, a tough runner with enough moxie to carry the load. Gore has been amazing, topping the 1,000 yard mark in each of the past four NFL seasons. His continued health depends on his getting a break though, and #2 man Glen Coffee spent the offseason bulling up in order to assume his share of the duties. Quarterback Alex Smith finally gets a chance to run the same offense two years in a row. Entering the final year of his contract gives Smith plenty of incentive to work hard and perform well. He’s got the size and arm for an NFL quarterback but now needs to develop the savvy. As insurance, Singletary signed David Carr as a backup.

Perhaps the most exciting and potential laden unit on the 49ers is the receivers. Michael Crabtree will have some experience and the benefit of a full training camp in 2010. Not a blazer, Crabtree is nonetheless reliable and has a knack for getting separation from a defender. Tight End Vernon Davis is the speed demon on the 49ers. His 13 touchdown performance last season was a career high, and the current offense fits his skill set well. Adding Ted Ginn Jr. should give Alex Smith the downfield target he’s been lacking and Josh Morgan is expected to play a larger role as well.

2010 San Francisco 49ers Tickets – The Defense

You’d expect a Mike Singletary coached team to get better on defense and that’s exactly what’s happened. San Francisco allowed less than 18 points per game in 2009 and prevented an offensive touchdown five times. Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis can deal with both the run and the pass while veteran Takeo Spikes still has enough left to provide support. Manny Lawson and Parys Haralson made strides from the OLB position in 2009 and should be better in 2010. The secondary is a steady group which will benefit from the talent of free safety Taylor Mays out of USC. Mike Singletary has put together a lunch bucket defense that plays hard and keeps coming. It’s a big reason to bank on 49ers tickets in 2010.
