The Texas went elsewhere, banking on developing some home talent brought up from the farm system. It’s working out pretty well on the mound. Scott Feldman made his mark by winning 17 games in 31 starts and keeping a respectable 4.08 ERA. At one point Feldman was hot enough to notch eight straight wins. Left Derek Holland is expected to be a big producer along with Tommy Hunter. Watch out for Colby Lewis also. The underground info is that he’s due for a big year in 2010.

With plenty of scoring potential and an emerging pitching rotation, the Texas Rangers could make a big move in the AL West happen.
