2014 Cleveland Browns Tickets – Holmgren’s New Baby

There’s a strange new feeling around Cleveland Browns tickets in 2014, one of hope. One of the few NFL franchises never to experience a Super Bowl the Cleveland Browns need only look to the south and the Saints to realize their dream is possible. Having a proven winner running the Cleveland Browns is a definite change for a franchise that hasn’t seen a winning season or a playoff spot in eight years. Cleveland Browns tickets are now NFL tickets with an eye to the future, a future that hopefully begins in 2014 and last far into the future. Mike Holmgren has blown into town and made key changes, keeping some elements and removing others, out with the old and in with the news. There’s a long way to go but for the Cleveland Browns the only way to go is up.

2010 Cleveland Browns Tickets – The Offense

Holmgren wasted no time in putting his mark on the Browns new offense. But what exactly that offense will be is still up in the air. Brady Quinn is gone and so is Derek Anderson. The new era of the Cleveland Browns begins with Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace, and Colt McCoy. While Delhomme is expected to step into the starting role there’s little doubt that there’s going to be a training camp competition to determine the final order. Whoever gains the nod will still be throwing to a questionable wide receiver group that faltered in 2009. Mohamed Massaquoi could develop into a big play guy with the right quarterback. Brian Robiskie could also be strength along with Josh Cribbs and Chansi Stuckey. Right now the Cleveland Browns aren’t asking for much, just steady and reliable production from the group as a whole. Cleveland is also going to have to find a reliable runner. They could have one in Jerome Harrison, who performed well late in the season last year. Holmgren drafted Montario Hardesty of Tennessee in the 3rd round and he could help the situation if he’s brought along slowly. Overall, look for the Browns to try a West Coast style offense with plenty of running and a short passing attack with an occasional long ball to keep things honest.

2010 Cleveland Browns Tickets – The Defense

The Cleveland Browns finished near the bottom of the NFL in almost every defensive category that means anything so Holmgren and Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan have their work cut out for them. It would be nice to build around lineman Shaun Rogers but his recent off the field problems make that a shaky proposition. The Browns nabbed the Saints Scott Fujita in free agency to solidify a linebacker unit that has some talent with MLB Eric Barton, ex-eagle Chris Gocong, and Kaluka Maiava. Once you hit the secondary you’ll definitely see some new faces. Cleveland used the draft to bring in cornerback Joe Haden from Florida. Free agency brought Sheldon Brown at the other corner spot. The draft may also give the Browns a safety as T.J. ward from Oregon is well thought of. It’s going to be an adventure to get all these players up to speed for Game 1 but Mike Holmgren and the folks who’ve stuck with their Cleveland Browns tickets have learned patience. Patience, and hope, is what it’s going to take.
